All Blacks defeat France 24-9

The All Blacks have defeated France 24-9 in their third and final test, at Yarrow Stadium in New Plymouth.

The game on Saturday night wraps up Les Bleue's three match tour of New Zealand, with the home side winning all three tests.

France put the pressure on the All Blacks from the start, scoring first with a drop goal by Florain Fritz.

Dan Carter evened up the score with a penalty kick, but missed another and failed to convert a try after Ben Smith scored the first try for the All Blacks after 36 minutes.

 

The All Blacks led at half time 8 - 6.

In the second half the penalty kicks continued with Dan Carter scoring three and the French one.

The high point of the game was Taranaki local Beauden Barratt scoring a try right on full time which was converted by Dan Carter.

For France, Jean-Marc Doussain kicked two penalties.
