Visited the hospital yesterday and had the good news that all was well with my hoof and no operation required

Visited the hospital yesterday and had the good news that all was well with my hoof and no operation required. They then chopped off the plaster cast and replaced it with synthetic fibre and offered a colour scheme, Mei chose red which is the good luck colour for Chinese so I chose black as my hometown of Nelson is part of the Crusaders franchise, so we are all lucky now.

Plaster is on, life for the next 6 weeks in wheelchair and bed

Plaster is on, life for the next 6 weeks in wheelchair and bed. Will need to stay inside unless someone carries me out as we have no ramps. Thinking of Stephen, my son, who had years in a wheelchair
