Cabbage time again
Each year in the streets appear, thousands of Chinese cabbage.
The first time I saw it just after I arrived here I thought the Government was giving them away but no, people buy them and make a cabbage pickle for winter use.
They are left in the sun to dry for a few days and then brought into to be pickled.
Mainly done by, and for the older family members as many younger ones do not bother and may not even eat it now.
Things that were traditional are being replaced with convenience foods so there are less cabbages in the streets now.
